Land’s End and Muir Redwoods

Joseph and I took a trip to San Francisco this summer for my friend Genevieve’s wedding. As soon as I booked the plane tickets I made a strict itinerary that involved lots of hiking. But I made a mistake when booking our hotels and had to abandon most of the itinerary. Thankfully we were able to fit in a few of the outdoor activities I had been planning on, and as soon as our plane landed the first morning we made our way to Land’s End and then to the Muir Woods.

Land’s End is beyond beautiful. It was like something out of a dream! I almost wish we hadn’t gone there first because nothing lived up to those first few hours.

Next, we drove to Muir Woods. I didn’t even attempt to get any photos illustrating how tall the redwoods were–there’s no way I would have been successful in that, especially without a wide angle lens.

you captured my part of the planet very nicely
unless you've seen a Redwood tree up close and personal there is no way to describe the beauty and how incredibly tall and old they are
