I’m struggling with my school and work schedules, so I apologize my blog has fallen behind! I need to habitually set aside time for my dear Wobby.
I’ve been falling behind on my Prompted 365 project for a couple months, and I have to admit recently hardly any of my photos have been taken on the actual day they were supposed to! I just can’t find the time, but I’m committed to this project and won’t be giving it up this so along.

1 August: Money

2 August: Permanent
Some little bird deemed our tree worthy for their nest! I am strangely honored.

3 August: Familiar
Our buddy Lazar Wolf a few new decorations in his home, including a waterfall and fake plants (he moved the purple one himself, which is why you can see the weight sticking out of the gravel).

4 August: End

5 August: Sharp

6 August: Far
My new planner traveled all the way from South Korea!

8 August: Soft

9 August: Clean
A few new bowls, straight from the dishwasher. I picked these up at Anthropologie for less than $4 and really love them! They’re the perfect size for snacks and fit perfectly into my mismatched cupboard (I have a penchant for dishes).

10 August: Key

  1. Alyssa! Wonderful photos as always – I think I’m in love with that cute planner and I love the mix-match colours and patterns of the bowls. I hope work and school aren’t too stressful and you’re having a great week :)

Thanks Jessica! I am having a pretty good week, but it’s an adjustment for Joseph and me both. The hardest part is not having a two-day weekend. Combined with school, I never have more than one day off at a time. I can’t really complain, though–I love my job and my classes!

I am really loving your new blog!

  2. I feel like I get caught up only to get distracted and behind again. But with it being over half way through the year, there’s no way I can let myself stop now.

I’m so behind going through people’s streams for this project too (ahhH!), but your photos are lovely as usual. :)

  3. I love love love the money photo. And your planner is adorable. =)
I’m so glad to see a post from you, I’ve missed them!

  4. I am, sadly, one of those photographers who had to give up the 365 project because of school. I don’t know how I would be able to keep it up now with everything on my plate. It’s lame, but I have no choice. I started taking photos on the wrong days and felt like I was cheating so I gave up. Oh well. Maybe next year? But good for you for sticking with it! : )

You should check it out! Just don’t look at the price tags ;) Everything is beautiful, and the store is such a joy to be in. I always way I want to live in an Anthropologie, haha. If you really search the sales, you can sometimes get things at a decent price! I’ve gotten some beautiful dresses for under $40 and tops for under $20, but that’s no doing much better than that, sadly. Still, it’s where I buy most of my clothes!
